| INFORMATION ABOUT CYPRUS | Individual Tours | |

For many years we have created personal itineraries to suit individual
requirements, resulting in unforgettable holidays

The island, located in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea, is divided into the
Greek Cypriot South and the Turkish Cypriot North. Ever since the border
opened in 2004, visitors with standard travel documents (ID or passport),
may freely cross from one side of the island to the other.
The Northern part may be reached in two ways by air: either via Turkey,
with a stopover in Istanbul or another International Airport and a
connecting flight to Ercan Airport, near Nicosia, or via South Cyprus
(Larnaca Airport) and a taxi-drive to the North.
The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus has a population of approximately
264,000 and the official language is a distinct dialect of Turkish.
Most locals, however, also speak English. The ideal time to spend a relaxing holiday on the beach, to take part in excursions or to go sightseeing, is from April to June and from September to the beginning of November. The temperatures in these months are moderate and the rainfall is low. Water temperatures reach 20°C as early as May and do not decrease until November. If you would like to visit North Cyprus during its hottest months July and August, we would recommend booking a beach-side hotel. Video North Cyprus
